About CardSkin

CardSkin (cardskin.app, "we") is a website for making card images for Apple Wallet and sharing them in a public gallery. It is run by an independent developer.

CardSkin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. or any bank, card network, or other company whose name or logo may appear on the site.

By using CardSkin you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use CardSkin

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

Your account

You can sign up with an ID, email, and password, or sign in with Google or Apple. Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what is posted from your account.

Do not choose an ID or display name that pretends to be someone else, a company, or CardSkin. We may change or remove names like that.

You can delete your account at any time from My page.

What you post

You keep whatever rights you have in the cards you upload. By uploading, you give CardSkin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your card on CardSkin, including letting other people download it for their own personal, non-commercial use.

This license ends when you delete the card or your account, except for copies other people have already downloaded and backups kept for a short time.

If you upload the design of a real card, choose Original and name its issuer as the source. The issuer and other rights holders keep all rights to that design.

What is not allowed

Real card numbers, names, expiry dates, security codes, or other personal information.

Real card designs posted without naming the issuer as the source, or with a wrong source.

Artwork, photos, characters, or trademarks you do not have the right to share, other than Original card designs posted as described below.

Hateful, violent, sexual, or illegal content.

Spam, automated sign-ups, or anything that interferes with the site or its security.

Logos and trademarks

Logos and brand names in the editor belong to their owners. They are provided so you can make a card image for your own card. Cards that use them are for personal use only.

Original card designs

The gallery includes designs of cards actually issued by banks and other companies ("Originals"), shared so people can use them as the card image in their own wallet. Each Original names its issuer as the source.

The designs, logos, and trademarks of Originals belong to their issuers and owners. CardSkin claims no rights in them, is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies, and does not charge for them. Originals are for personal, non-commercial use only.

If you are a rights holder and want an Original removed, email support@cardskin.app with the card link. We will take it down promptly.

Review and removal

Every upload is reviewed before it appears in the gallery. We may decline or remove any card, for example after a report or a request from a rights holder. See the upload guidelines for how to report a card.

Using cards from the gallery

Cards in the gallery are for personal, non-commercial use on your own device. Do not sell them or use them to suggest that you are, or are endorsed by, any company.

Ending your use

You can stop using CardSkin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

No warranty and limits of liability

CardSkin is provided as is and as available. We do our best to keep it running and safe but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, CardSkin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use CardSkin after a change means you accept the new terms.
